Columbia Business School's Yellow Ribbon Fund
Pledge your support for our veteran students at Columbia Business School!
Veterans have walked the halls of Columbia Business School since its inception in 1916 and today that tradition continues with a strong presence of veteran leaders in each incoming class of MBA candidates. These students tend to come to Columbia directly from serving their country, each seeking a transformational education from the Columbia MBA program.
The Post-9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program combine financial support from the University and the Veterans Administration (VA) to fund expenses that exceed the amount covered solely by the GI Bill. The additional funding is provided at an equal 1:1 ratio between the VA and Columbia and 100% of the funds that are raised will go directly to current students in the MBA program.
We currently provide $7,500, which is matched by the VA, to our Yellow Ribbon Program recipients. To reach our goal of funding 50% of tuition for Yellow Ribbon eligible veterans we are asking everyone—current students, alumni, and friends—to join us in supporting this great program and these great leaders who have sacrificed for our nation and will soon become part of our alumni network.
Donors who make gifts of $1,000 receive a handwritten note from one of our current veteran student leaders in the Military in Business Association.
